Green Building Services Building Insights® Training creates capacity within organizations and individuals to apply green building and LEED® best practices. Corporate Organizational Capacity BuildingIn order for large organizations to implement sustainability initiatives, each organizational segment must be able to understand and execute its role. Green Building Services' training helps large organizations develop this capacity to ensure corporate-wide success.
Custom ClassesGBS leverages the breadth and depth of its expertise and direct project experience to tailor a green building training that meets your objectives. We use live presentation, web-based training and interactive tour formats to create general or topic-specific green building capacity. Whether your interest is preparation for the LEED® Accredited Professional exam, executive-level training or a keynote speech, GBS can support your needs.
USGBC LEED® WorkshopsGreen Building Services has five LEED® Faculty on staff that are formally authorized to offer USGBC Workshops. USGBC LEED® workshops provide a general introduction to green building in the context of the goals, strategy and structure of the LEED® Rating System. These workshops also help prepare participants for taking the LEED® Accredited Professional (LEED-AP) exam and are anticipated to count as continuing education under the USGBC's new LEED-AP credentialing maintenance program.
Continuing Education and the USGBC Education Provider Program
GBS is a registered provider of continuing education units (CEU), and our trainings typically provide participants Health, Safety and Welfare, and Sustainability continuing education units. GBS also pursues qualification of its trainings through the USGBC's Education Provider Program, which meets the USGBC's forthcoming continuing maintenance requirement for LEED® Accredited Professionals.
