Victoria brings an educational background in interior design and sustainability providing her a breadth of knowledge in preparing client deliverables, project management, conducting research, and delivering educational trainings. She works primarily on Commercial Retail and Office projects that focus on energy and water reduction, specification of healthy materials, the development of green cleaning procedures and data tracking. Notable clients include retail giant Nike, Converse, Hewlett Packard, Potbelly, Union Bank, and Bentall Kennedy, one of North America’s largest real estate investment advisors and Canada’s largest property manager. To keep up with the industry’s standards and trends, Victoria participates in the monthly LEED Retail User Group facilitated by the USGBC. Victoria’s project management and organizational skills creates efficiency throughout the many sustainability projects and certifications she completed. She is also the worker’s representative for the Joint Health and Safety Committee where she conducts safety inspections and assists in educating internal staff members on policies and procedures. Victoria also supports the GBS training department contributing to various Certification/Rating System in depth overviews and exam preparation, development of LEED v4 trainings, and other educational materials for live workshops and webinars.
Victoria has been without a car for the past six years, and enjoys smelling the Portland roses as she walks around the city. She is a vegetable loving, wine sipping, trail hiking, world traveling sustainability enthusiast. In her ideal world, water wouldn’t come in plastic bottles.
